These Terms of Service (“Terms”) explain the rules for using PETRAVO.NET and for communicating with PETRAVO regarding products, collections, custom orders, collaborations, purchases, and related services.

PETRAVO works with petrified wood, natural stone, wood, and selected natural materials to create collectible objects, interior pieces, and custom-made works for private clients, collectors, designers, galleries, and interior projects.

PETRAVO.NET is currently used for presentation, portfolio, communication, product inquiry, and custom order discussion purposes. Sales may be processed through selected third-party marketplace platforms such as Etsy, eBay, or similar services. PETRAVO may also introduce direct payment options through PETRAVO.NET, including Stripe or other third-party payment providers.

If a purchase is completed through a third-party marketplace, the marketplace’s own terms, payment rules, buyer protection rules, return rules, privacy policy, and dispute procedures may also apply.

These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Shipping & Returns information.

Full legal business details, including registered business name, registered business address, registration number, and VAT/MVA number if applicable, will be added once PETRAVO is formally registered as a business.

2. Use of the Website

You may use PETRAVO.NET for lawful personal, professional, design, collection, and inquiry purposes.

You agree not to:

• misuse the website;
• attempt unauthorized access;
• interfere with website operation;
• copy, scrape, or commercially exploit website content without permission;
• submit false, misleading, abusive, or fraudulent information;
• use the website for spam, malware, fraud, unlawful activity, or harmful conduct;
• impersonate another person or business;
• interfere with PETRAVO’s systems, communications, marketplace listings, or payment processes.

We may restrict access to PETRAVO.NET or refuse communication if we reasonably believe that the website, contact channels, or services are being misused.

3. Eligibility

By using PETRAVO.NET, contacting PETRAVO, discussing a purchase, requesting a custom order, or buying through a marketplace or direct payment method, you confirm that you:

• are at least 18 years old;
• have legal capacity to enter into agreements;
• provide accurate and complete information;
• comply with applicable laws;
• are not subject to sanctions, export restrictions, or legal limitations that would prevent the transaction.

4. Products and Natural Material Characteristics

PETRAVO works with natural materials, including petrified wood, natural stone, wood, and other selected natural elements.

Each product may vary in:

• color;
• texture;
• mineral structure;
• grain;
• shape;
• surface;
• dimensions;
• weight;
• natural cracks;
• cavities;
• inclusions;
• visual balance;
• natural imperfections.

These characteristics are part of the natural identity of the material and do not necessarily constitute defects.

Photographs are intended to represent each item as accurately as possible. However, colors, textures, proportions, surface details, and visual depth may appear differently depending on lighting, photography conditions, screen settings, image compression, and natural material variation.

5. Product Availability

Because PETRAVO works with unique natural materials, many pieces are one-of-a-kind or limited in availability.

Product availability may change without prior notice, especially where items are presented on third-party marketplace platforms, discussed with private clients, reserved for custom projects, or offered through multiple sales channels.

We reserve the right to withdraw, update, modify, reserve, or remove any product presentation from PETRAVO.NET at any time.

A product is not considered reserved or sold unless this has been clearly confirmed in writing or through an official marketplace or payment confirmation.

6. Prices

Prices may be displayed on PETRAVO.NET, communicated directly by email, shown in a written quote, or displayed on third-party marketplace platforms.

Unless clearly stated otherwise, prices may not include:

• shipping costs;
• customs duties;
• import VAT;
• local taxes;
• insurance;
• special packaging;
• installation;
• handling fees;
• marketplace fees;
• payment provider fees where applicable;
• customs brokerage fees.

Final price, shipping cost, taxes, and applicable fees should always be confirmed before purchase.

Where a product is sold through Etsy, eBay, or another marketplace, the price and applicable transaction terms shown on that platform apply.

Where direct payment through PETRAVO.NET is introduced, the final payable amount will be shown before payment is completed.

7. Marketplace Purchases

PETRAVO may sell products through third-party marketplaces such as Etsy, eBay, or similar platforms.

When you purchase through a marketplace:

• the marketplace may process the order;
• payment may be handled by the marketplace or its payment providers;
• buyer protection rules may apply according to the marketplace’s policy;
• return and cancellation processes may need to be handled through that platform;
• the marketplace’s terms and conditions may apply in addition to PETRAVO’s product-specific information.

PETRAVO is not responsible for independent marketplace systems, platform outages, payment provider decisions, account restrictions, buyer protection outcomes, marketplace dispute decisions, or third-party platform policy changes.

8. Direct Inquiries and Custom Orders

You may contact PETRAVO to discuss product availability, custom orders, commissions, collaborations, interior projects, gallery work, or professional design requests.

A custom order may involve:

• petrified wood;
• natural stone;
• wood;
• mixed natural materials;
• specific dimensions;
• special finishing;
• project-based design;
• private interior placement;
• gallery or collector requirements;
• professional collaboration.

A custom order is not confirmed until the scope, price, payment terms, estimated timeline, delivery arrangements, and other relevant details have been agreed in writing.

PETRAVO may request a deposit or full advance payment for custom work, reserved pieces, special sourcing, preparation, material purchase, or production.

We reserve the right to refuse custom work if the requested project is not technically, commercially, legally, materially, or ethically suitable.

9. Payment

PETRAVO.NET may offer direct payment options in the future. Where direct payments are enabled, payments may be processed securely through Stripe or another third-party payment provider.

PETRAVO does not store full payment card details on its own servers. Payment information, transaction authentication, billing details, fraud prevention data, risk assessment data, dispute data, and payment verification information may be processed by Stripe or the relevant payment provider under their own terms and privacy policy.

Payments may be handled through:

• Etsy;
• eBay;
• another third-party marketplace;
• Stripe;
• bank transfer;
• invoice;
• or another agreed payment method.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate billing, payment, and contact information.

An order may be considered unpaid until cleared funds are received or the marketplace/payment provider confirms payment.

PETRAVO reserves the right to refuse, cancel, delay, or review transactions where fraud, payment risk, chargeback risk, sanctions, export restrictions, incorrect information, suspicious activity, or legal compliance concerns are reasonably suspected.

10. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping terms depend on the product, destination, size, weight, material, value, packaging needs, and sales channel.

Products may be shipped from Latvia, Norway, or another agreed location depending on where the item is stored, produced, prepared, or fulfilled.

Shipping may be handled by postal operators, courier companies, freight carriers, marketplace shipping services, or other logistics providers.

Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed unless expressly agreed in writing. Delays may occur due to:

• customs processing;
• carrier delays;
• weather;
• strikes;
• holidays;
• incorrect delivery information;
• remote destination;
• border controls;
• sanctions or export restrictions;
• force majeure events;
• logistics disruptions;
• marketplace or payment verification delays.

PETRAVO is not responsible for delays caused by third-party carriers, customs authorities, marketplace systems, payment providers, or circumstances beyond reasonable control.

Risk of loss or damage may transfer according to the applicable sales channel, delivery terms, consumer law, or written agreement.

11. Customs, Import Duties, and Taxes

International buyers may be responsible for customs duties, import VAT, local taxes, brokerage fees, handling fees, and other charges imposed by the destination country.

These costs are not controlled by PETRAVO and may vary depending on country, product value, material, weight, and customs classification.

The buyer is responsible for ensuring that the product can be legally imported into the destination country.

Where a purchase is made through Etsy, eBay, or another marketplace, certain taxes may be collected, estimated, or displayed by the platform according to its rules and applicable law.

PETRAVO is not responsible for delays, costs, refusal, seizure, return, or destruction of goods caused by customs authorities, import restrictions, inaccurate buyer information, or destination-country requirements outside PETRAVO’s reasonable control.

12. Returns, Cancellations, and Right of Withdrawal

Return and cancellation rights depend on:

• the sales channel;
• the buyer’s country;
• the type of product;
• whether the product is standard, unique, reserved, customized, or made to the buyer’s specifications;
• applicable consumer protection law;
• the marketplace’s own return rules.

For eligible consumer purchases in the European Union, a statutory right of withdrawal may apply. In many cases, consumers have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase, subject to legal exceptions.

Certain products may be excluded from standard withdrawal rights where permitted by law, including goods that are made to the consumer’s specifications, clearly personalized, custom-made, specially sourced, altered, modified, or prepared specifically for the buyer.

Unique natural objects may also require special assessment because each piece is individual, fragile, heavy, high-value, or materially distinct.

If a product is purchased through Etsy, eBay, or another marketplace, returns, cancellations, disputes, and refunds may need to be handled through the relevant platform.

Returned products must normally be unused, undamaged, safely packaged, and returned in their original or equivalent protective packaging unless otherwise agreed.

The buyer may be responsible for return shipping costs unless applicable law or marketplace rules provide otherwise.

Custom orders, personalized items, reserved pieces, special commissions, or products made to agreed specifications may be non-refundable where permitted by law.

Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

13. Damage During Shipping

If a product arrives damaged, the customer should contact PETRAVO or the relevant marketplace platform as soon as possible.

The customer may be asked to provide:

• photographs of the damaged product;
• photographs of the packaging;
• order confirmation;
• shipping label;
• delivery documentation;
• description of the damage.

Damage claims may depend on carrier rules, marketplace policies, insurance coverage, and applicable consumer law.

Do not discard packaging until the matter has been reviewed, as carriers may require packaging evidence for claims.

14. Product Care and Use

PETRAVO products are intended primarily as decorative, collectible, artistic, interior, or design objects unless clearly stated otherwise.

Customers are responsible for suitable placement, handling, installation, care, and use.

Natural stone, petrified wood, and wood may be heavy, fragile, sharp-edged, sensitive to impact, or affected by unsuitable handling, moisture, chemicals, heat, freezing, or improper installation.

PETRAVO is not responsible for damage caused by misuse, improper placement, dropping, impact, unauthorized modification, inappropriate cleaning products, outdoor exposure unless agreed, or installation by third parties.

15. Intellectual Property

All PETRAVO branding, names, logos, photography, product descriptions, design language, website structure, visual assets, written content, and presentation materials are protected intellectual property unless otherwise stated.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, scrape, resell, commercially exploit, or use PETRAVO content without prior written permission.

Sharing PETRAVO content for personal, editorial, design reference, or non-commercial purposes may be allowed if proper credit is given and the use does not misrepresent PETRAVO or its products.

Commercial use always requires written permission.

16. Third-Party Links and Services

PETRAVO.NET may contain links to third-party websites, marketplace listings, payment platforms, shipping providers, social media pages, or partner websites.

We are not responsible for the content, policies, security, availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party websites or services.

You should review the applicable terms and privacy policies of any third-party service before using it or providing personal data.

17. Sanctions, Export Control, and Restricted Transactions

PETRAVO reserves the right to refuse, cancel, delay, or restrict transactions where necessary to comply with applicable laws, sanctions, export control rules, anti-money laundering requirements, fraud prevention procedures, marketplace rules, logistics restrictions, or international trade requirements.

This may include refusing orders from certain countries, individuals, entities, or shipping destinations where required by law or by payment, logistics, marketplace, or service providers.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PETRAVO shall not be liable for:

• indirect losses;
• consequential damages;
• loss of profit;
• loss of business opportunity;
• loss caused by misuse;
• damage caused by improper handling or installation;
• third-party platform failures;
• carrier delays;
• customs delays;
• payment provider decisions;
• marketplace decisions;
• events beyond reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer protection law.

19. Force Majeure

PETRAVO shall not be responsible for failure or delay caused by events beyond reasonable control, including:

• natural disasters;
• storms;
• fire;
• flood;
• war;
• civil unrest;
• strikes;
• sanctions;
• governmental restrictions;
• border closures;
• customs disruptions;
• cyber incidents;
• supplier failures;
• carrier failures;
• marketplace outages;
• payment system disruptions;
• labor disputes;
• epidemics or public health restrictions;
• transportation failures.

20. Governing Law

These Terms are intended to be interpreted in accordance with applicable European consumer protection principles and the laws relevant to the place of operation, sale, marketplace transaction, and customer residence where mandatory consumer rules apply.

Until PETRAVO is formally registered as a business, legal business details will remain limited to the operator information provided in these Terms.

Once PETRAVO is formally registered, this section may be updated to specify the applicable governing law, business jurisdiction, registered business address, and dispute resolution information.

Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights that apply under the law of the customer’s country of residence where such rights cannot legally be excluded.

21. Changes to These Terms

PETRAVO may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in business operations, legal requirements, payment systems, marketplace use, shipping practices, or website functionality.

The updated version will be published on PETRAVO.NET with a revised effective date.

Continued use of PETRAVO.NET after changes are published means that the updated Terms apply to future use, inquiries, and transactions.
